Step 1
Open Windows 10 Mail on your computer.
Step 2
Right click the mailbox you want enable SSL on and select Account Settings.
Step 3
TheĀ account settingsĀ window will now appear, clickĀ Change mailbox sync settings.
Step 4
Scroll to the bottom of theĀ Sync Settings window and clickĀ Advanced Mailbox settings.
Step 5
If you have a Standard mailbox you will need to use theĀ SMTP settingsĀ supplied by your Internet provider.
- Incoming email server: Set this to mail.livemail.co.uk:993
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server: Set this toĀ smtp.livemail.co.uk:465
- Require SSL for incoming email: Tick this box.
- Require SSL for outgoing email: Tick this box.
If you are using POPĀ instead ofĀ IMAP set Incoming email server to mail.livemail.co.uk:995
Step 6
Click Done, thenĀ Save. Your mailbox is now set up using SSL in Windows 10 Mail.
